Derive the current year/date dynamically, not hardcoded
Derive current-period labels from the correct date source; preserve historical years.
PR: frontpage-web · org-mining-hist-2026-06Created: Jun 18, 2026
Bad example
Old codetsx
| 1 |
Live: Black Week 2022
|
Explanation (EN)
A hardcoded year becomes stale when the label truly means the current period.
Objašnjenje (HR)
Good example
New codetsx
| 1 |
Live: Black Week {format(new Date(), 'yyyy', { locale })}
|
Explanation (EN)
Objašnjenje (HR)
Notes (EN)
Derive a current-period label from the authoritative event/configuration date and timezone, keeping server and client rendering consistent.
Exceptions / Tradeoffs (EN)
Historical campaign names and archived content must retain their real year. new Date at render time can change across midnight or hydration; it is not always the correct source.
